Salem's Wych Signs Worlwide Distribution Deal [ 12/11/2006 ] Salem's Wych announced on December 11, 2006 that they have signed a worldwide distribution deal with the Media Vision Entertainment Group. Through the deal all physical and digital content for the band would be taken over by Media Vision Entertainment as of January 1st 2007.
Salem's Wych Crucified For Life To See Light of Day [ 7/16/2006 ] Crucified For Life the recording originally slated to be the 1988 Salem's Wych sophmore album will be coming out this winter. The album has songs crafted from the 80's that helped to set Salem's Wych ahead of the pack. The album was recorded by Freddie Paul, and will by re- mixed and mastered in September.
Salem's Wych Released In China [ 5/25/2006 ] The Proud Productions music compilation has been released in Hong Kong, mainland China and Taiwan on May 25, 2006. The song Blasphemy by the metal band Salem's Wych is the first metal song from outside of China to be approved by the Chinese governent for release within their borders. This will give many Chinese metal fans their first glimps at American metal.
Salem's Wych Signs On With Proud Music Agency [ 2/14/2006 ] Salem's Wych and Proud Music of Hong Kong are proud to announce a partnership in bringing the music of Salem's Wych to the Pacific Rim, with a focus being put on Hong Kong, mainland China, Thailand and Indonesia.
The song "Blasphemy" will be included in the Proud Music sampler and mp3 streaming music site, that goes out to both commercial and underground radio in those regions, as well as two new interviews that have been translated into the countries respective languages.
Salem's Wych Live Track In Mixing Stage [ 1/24/2006 ] The title track for the 1988 Crucified for Life Salem's Wych album, has been recorded live by the band. And at present is currently being mixed, for inclusion on a compilation CD.With this being for many, the first glimps into the band, during what some have called the "lost years" giving the fans yet a first hand look at what is surely to follow once the original studio version of Crucified for Life is remixed and released later in the year.
